We understand that many of you will be traveling from the United States, and we truly appreciate your commitment to joining us!
To help make this trip as affordable as possible while maximizing your time in Europe, we have written some recommendations below.
We recommend that you budget between $2,000–$3,500 per person for the entire trip. See the sample itinerary at the bottom of this page for a moderate budget breakdown.
Start by flying into a major European city you’d love to visit. Biarritz has seasonal direct flights from many of these hubs. Round-trip flights from major US cities to major European cities will typically cost between $800–$1,100 this time of year.
Popular destinations for Summer 2025 include:
Paris
London
Amsterdam
Frankfort
+ many more!
After enjoying a couple of days in your chosen city, look for a direct flight to one of the following airports near Biarritz.
We recommend arriving by Tuesday Sept. 2 or Wednesday Sept. 3 to fully enjoy the area. You will want to arrive no later than Thursday Sept. 4 in the afternoon to have time to check-in and get settled before our Welcome Party in the early evening.
Biarritz Pays-Basque Airport (BIQ)
$100–$300
The easiest and closest option. Highly recommended for its convenience. It is a 10-minute drive to the Biarritz city center.
Bilbao Airport (BIO)
$50–$200
The largest airport in the Basque Country. Ideal if flights to Biarritz don’t work for you. It is a 2-hour drive to Biarritz, so factor in car rental or train/bus costs.
Donostia-San Sebastián Airport (EAS)
$50–$200
Smaller than Bilbao, but closer to Biarritz (45-minute drive). There are also trains and buses available.
$200-350 / night
Biarritz is a beautiful beachside town in the Basque Country. We recommend you stay near the city center. While Biarritz is walkable, with most main attractions within 15-20 minutes by foot, some areas are less accessible.
